When Grier was suspended it killed all our MO and this is what sent recruiting back a bit. Just look at what happened in the games after he was gone. Our offense went back to the chump years. We couldn't complete a forward pass. Yet we are still expected to sign the top WR's in this class???
When Grier was playing ALL OF THESE WR'S were lining up to come but that immediately came to a screeching halt the day he was suspended. Can you blame them? They want the ball thrown to them and Stevie Wonder could see that ain't happening at UF now.
We were d@mn lucky to get Cleveland and the others....embrace that.
If our offense finds a QB and he starts tossing it around again and the offense opens up...recruits will knock our doors down again like in the past.
Our head coach acknowledged this class was sub par. Everyone needs to hear him...we need to do a better job in State period. This means he is not satisfied with the class as it could have been better. Hear him. This is no one here talking...not a sun shine pumper or fainting goat...it is OUR HEAD COACH saying this.
He made the adjustment right in the middle of recruiting by firing the DB coach and hired a guy who is from Tampa/Lakeland. Think this sent a message to the staff concerning recruiting???
Our head coach is not satisfied with the class. Hear him. Trust him.
