Republican congress had more than a little to do with that. * ============================== He is uniquely qualified to bridge the gap and reach some common ground on the issues dividing black Americans, white Americans, and the government/law enforcement groups. He has done little. Blacks feel they have little recourse but to protest or riot. Law enforcement feels handcuffed by lack of support. Both sides need to recognize where they can improve themselves and come together to reach real solutions. A president should be leading that initiative, not Congress. |
