Yes, the woman is an enabled bully.  But what I'd like to address is how poorly we really understand whether this is more evidence that we are going to hell in a handbasket, as is so often asserted here.  I believe that the Internet is causing us to lose perspective and despite so much more information presented us, we are actually developing a more distorted rather than accurate view of life in the USA.

Let's play with some numbers to help put things in perspective.  

Consider the worst, most dramatically vile incident that has or will happen to you out of your entire life.  In an average lifespan, that most horrible day of all would be the worst 1, out of the 28,000 days you live.  (Or more accurately, have the most dramatically vile incident.)

So how does 1 out of 28,000 compare to 1 in a million?  It would take about 35 lifetimes to equal 1 in a million. So even over your entire life, you are highly unlikely (3%) to have that one in a million day.

But in a nation of 330,000,000, on average over 300 people are having that day today.  And when you consider that almost everyone has cell phone cameras and whips them out anytime anything bizarre happens (plus all the security and other cameras around) it is pretty safe to assume that at least a third of those extremely low probability vile incidents will be videoed and uploaded to the internet.

That works out to a hundred dramatically vile videos illustrating how messed up live in the USA Is becoming - per day.

Even if the reality is that there is less than a 3% chance of such an incident happening to you over the course of a lifetime.

But every day we see the black nazi, the dog shooting cop, the child stealing social worker and and hosts of other disturbing images which trick us into believing that these videos are depicting the norm and that this is what America is becoming.
