(EDITED BY AUTHOR: 10/4/2003 - 5:57 p.m.) Let's face it. Were cooked this season. As fans may I suggest that from this point on we stop counting the W's and L's and just watch our players develop. Enjoy the long pass down the sideline and be glad it's not a bubble screen. Lets hope they play a lot of youngins and we as fans should allow for youngin mistakes. If we do that, we may not end this year with ulcers. Enjoy the game regardless of the score and know that our players will only get better, hungrier and stronger. If Zook is back next year, it will either be the beginning of his reign or his last year as a head coach in Div 1 football. If Zook is gone next year our new coach will have inherited seasoned players. Ya got to let it go, Its hard but you got to. I did after the UK game. I knew it was over. It was UK for goodness sakes! Now I just watch, enjoy my day, and repeat the mantra, "Its all good". It's not denial, If anything is the exact opposite. I accept where we are. I dont like it, I wish I could do something, but I cant. So, I'll kick back enjoy my beverages and try to come up with some witty jokes abut how bad we suck this year. Its not permanent. Nothing is permanent except death and taxes, and my hatred for UGA. We'll be back. Just try and enjoy the rest of the season and take it for what it is...a glorified practice for next year. Now if we can just follow Lombardi's advice......
