On rape and victim blaming

I know this doesn't matter to some of the people that post here, but if you have women in your life, especially two teen girls, you should understand this. All of it.==============================

I have two adult daughters.

There is no mention by the author of the possibility of date rape drugs being slipped into drinks.  Where alcohol is freely flowing, it's much more likely to happen without being noticed.  Interesting omission don't you think?

And NONE of that is "blaming the victim".  Instead, it's advising prudent precautions.  I know I've had that conversation about NEVER taking your eye off your drink when at a party.

I'm sorry, but I think that entire line of criticism in this particular case is over the top, unfair and involves a lot of projecting.  I also have my doubts we'd be reading it if Hillary or Bernie had said the exact same thing.
