I don't understand nor agree with your subject line and the hardline stance on not respecting someone's personal wishes...if I met you as Fred and you one day told me you've changed your name to Harry, it might take me a little getting used to, but I would try to call you Harry. No skin off my back. ==============================there are a lot of posters on this forum that regularly call my religious beliefs "fairy tales," among other offensive things.
Do I get to demand they positively affirm my religious beliefs and treat them with respect?
