Message Replied To ========== even before he was sworn in, the GOP made it known they they would not work with him - it was made crystal clear. And this came from being butt hurt about losing, just like they were the last time a D was in the white house. So, yes, Obama has gone it alone some, but when you're put in a situation where most of the time you have to operate that way to solve pressing problems, well then, how are you supposed to figure out what the issues are where your political adversaries actually want to work together?
