I would love to hear about any that has actually made anyone safer. Yet, the NRA works just as hard as they do at anything training ordinary citizens to abide by every single one of them. 

Gun laws in the United States only really have one key accomplishment - disproportionately incarcerating and making felons out of racial minorities and the lower socioeconomic classes. It's just as dumb and possibly worse than the war on drugs. 

I am all ears and might be in favor of a real common sense gun law that would make anyone safer. Despite what the 24-7 sensationalist news cycle might suggest, there are actually more guns in the US now than ever, yet we are safer from gun violence than we ever have been. You were more likely to be a shooting victim in the Mayberry days!
