We remember in reverence. My family has been fortunate. USAF, Army, Navy and Marines are all represented. Active Duty, Guard, Reserves and even Navy SEALs; brothers, fathers, cousins, extended famly. We have all come home. This weekend is not for us. Don't thank us for our service this weekend. Console, remember and pray for those who have suffered such terrible price. Those who have paid it and those who are left behind.

We as current and former service members of America's armed forces recognize the risk and volunteer to do so anyway. Our families and loved ones often have little choice but to carry the cross alone...waiting...dreading the call, the knock at the door...the unannounced visitor in uniform.
