of an effort for the Bulldawgs and they've been at the short end for nearly 20 years---we can come up with every excuse in the book and they're all valid I guess, but not sure we can claim superior fanship or all these other things if we collectively sit home and watch on the couch all these games...I mean do we value the campus return, the tradition of the big rivalries anymore?  The cost I assume is similar for the opposing fans....I've been a little disturbed at the drop off in interest...UGA had 90K for their spring game---turned people away---the Muschamp years sucked but other schools have had at least as many down years and our successful years are far more recent...it's like folks took a break or something and then found better things to do...not sure we'll stay relevant and on top of things without that support and interest...Gators reputation has always been as one of the most rabid fanbases around---I'm not sensing that much these days---there are far hungrier and more rabid fan bases...we've gotten lazy...wonder if it's the academic emphasis (don't get me wrong this is a good thing)...I remember a day when the coach coming to town would attract more than a thousand out at the fair grounds...now just a few hundred...what's happened to us??? :)
