The events of the weekend have left me speechless, which is unusual for me.   I have attempted to respond to so many posts - on this board and elsewhere - but I stop in the middle and just erase everything.   I finally determined the problems is that I have finally learned enough to realize that I have no idea what is really going on.   (see below)

Ask me about Intellectual Property Law, and I will tell you way more than you wanted to know.  Ask me about mountain biking, and I at least have an answer or know where to find it. 

But I have no answer for the mentally unstable people in this country who continue to carry out these attacks.  Take away their religion, and they will find some other motive.  Take away their guns (or their fertilizer, or their box cutters), and they will find some other means.     

We have a serious, serious problem in this country, and no one is coming close to proposing a solution.  I don't think invading other countries is the answer, but I am dwelling in that little valley to the right of Mount Stupid.
