dissimilar countries with dissimilar governments, dissimilar ideas and dissimilar problems, or issues, in my opinion.

I gravitated to "out" for three reasons:

1. Personally it gives me hope that we, too, might reject a far away central power ruling in ever growing measures over our daily lives and turn to a semblance of federalism, if not out right local governance.

2. Selfishly, I perceive the growth in ever larger bureaucratic organizations and a marrying of same with ever larger corporatists as damaging to our freedom.

3. I simply would like all peoples to enjoy self determination and I see distant bureaucratic rule as contrary to that and am happy when they display courage; as stated, perhaps we, too, can be courageous. And yeah, it takes courage to fight the coordinated efforts of big government, big business and big media attempting to pound you daily into submission.
