Message Replied To ========== That's pretty nitpicky, Congress wrote the law and he signed it and the HC industry did have lots of input - Big Pharma loved the bill, for example. He left the private market place in place and ultimately rejected a single player plan even though that would have been more cost effective and actually covered everyone. It's not perfect and may only be somewhat better than what we had before, but it's been how many years now and the GOP still haven't offered a viable replacement. If they had worked with the Ds and Obama, they could have gotten much of what they wanted, but they have been on an eight year temper tantrum with no end in sight. ============================== signed it. That was the "compromise". |
