During the 20-ish years that this site has been around, we have prided ourselves on being more than just a message board.  This place was our own version of Facebook before there was a Facebook.  Many of us have shared our personal triumphs, we have shared our personal struggles, and we have consoled each other in times of need.  We have shown support of people we often times have never even met in person.

As most of us know, one of our own...one of our most beloved VSers...GatorJamie has been struggling with some serious health issues.  While I have not had the pleasure of meeting her in person, I have always felt a real sense of fondness for her.  Intelligence, good nature, fun-loving wit, a steady temperament, and tolerance of others characterizes Jaime to me.

Last night I was made aware of a GoFundMe page that was started to help Jaime and Heather (and the page included some details that I wasn't aware of).

I hope all who read this will accept my call to action and do whatever you can to help them keep moving ahead during this challenging time.  That's what makes this place special...let's keep the VS tradition of supporting our own as strong as it has always been.
