I'm not voting to keep someone else from winning, which would be an impossibility for my vote no matter who I support. I'm voting to chip away at the institutionalized two-party system that you want to strengthen by voting in who you see as the lesser of two evils. If I don't vote, I've wasted that opportunity.============================== were our votes wasted? I think not, that's America. We have the right to make our choice count. By that same logic what would happen if a bunch of Trump voters failed to vote Trump in a state where it was almost certainly going to be a lock for Trump... could be he could lose that state? If you're going to vote Clinton, vote Clinton. I don't care if it's Montana or California. We should all respect each other's preference regardless of party. That's why comments like "Are you crazy?" or "Wake up people" or "he's a crook" or "she's a liar" and so on are counter productive. You think you're trying to educate people who think you're just being a dick. What's the point? Thank God I don't normally post on the Lounge. |
