You're just screwed. I pay more for everything now knowing that the 27 year old kid (a friend) in Asheville who was never able to get coverage (because of what she was born with) now can... and I'm perfectly okay with it. I don't like the America where your birth fortune is your fate. I like the kumbayah approach that we should all assume we could be the unlucky one and therefore we should all accept some responsibility toward one another. I guess that makes me a loser lib. |
