I told him not really, and he said he's been a season ticket holde since 1984, and a Bull Gator for over ten years, but he can't remember being this disinterested. I told him this is the first time in 20 years I haven't ordered at least some away game tickets. We talked as to the reason why concluding that Muschamp took the fun out of Gator football. Even in his 10 win season some of the wins felt like losses. We also agreed we were starting to come out of that funk last year until the Grier thing, and it started all over again expecting every pass to be dropped or intercepted, every run to be stopped at the line of scrimmage, and every field goal to be missed. Blowout losses to FSU, Alabama, and Michigan put an exclamation mark on the season. 

We both agreed we should have a better offense this year but that there are so many unknowns with this team it's hard to get excited until we see it on the field. All this we concluded that Muschamp not only ruined our brand with the public, the perception recruits have of us as a program, and with the exception of the true believers, the fun, excitement, and hope for an upcoming season. 

But there is one game we both agreed we will be excited about, and that's the USCe game where winning the game just won't be enough. We want Muschamp humiliated, we want those chicken eggs crushed, and their chicken coop set on fire. Do that and whatever happens the rest of the season will be ok. 

He was total #badword#ing moron.  And I am talking about a successful 65ish year old businessman who is passionate about the Gators.

Bullet points of his complete idiocy:

- Coach Mac is a total disappointment.  He showed his true coaching ability after we lost Grier.

- Losing Grier was the single biggest mistake made by a coach at UF in this guy's lifetime.  Grier would have put up numbers that would have made Tebow envious.  He is a future hall of famer that we let slip through our fingers.

- Speaking of Tebow, he has a great football mind and when we replace Coach Mac, Tebow is the guy to be the next head coach.

I was getting dizzy from shaking my head and asked him if he really thinks we should hand the program off to someone who has never coached a down of football on any level.  He said we did it with Muschamp. I said "it was nice meeting you" and walked away.
