| As someone who is help to restore power to the more than 2 million with out it in Florida. I and my crew work 18-20 hours a day with only 8 off. Every place we go, there isn't power, which means that we aren't able to buy food, water, essentials etc. The only thing we have, is what we bring in our coolers and lunch boxes. I've seen the devastation it has caused. Elderly who don't have A.C; children and families not being able to cook to feed themselves, no way to use your Credit Card because of the loss of power. Not to mention, the Authorities who are stretched very thin. I also help with the power restoration when Katrina hit, I did 5 weeks until the majority of power was restored. So, if you WATB'S have a problem with the cancellation of a damn football game, come ride with me and see it from the reality that I've witnessed and am witnessing. Otherwise. .....please just STFU!! |
