"So you believe. Many see things differently."

I think what frustrates me is we have problems but things aren't the disaster you guys claim

our debt is not an outrageous percentage of our GDP.

Obamacare needs some reforms, but I've said all along that was going to be necessary, as is any government program. Most of the problems can be fixed, and you guys ignore that it has kept the costs from exploding, as well as reduced the uninsured to historic levels.

Much of our issues with the economy have been due to the GOP congress refusing to work with Obama and the Ds on everything.

They have also played footsie with the extreme anti-government and white nationalist elements in this country to the point where the GOP is fracturing.

Ds are not perfect. I want better from my party. I think having a woman in charge is going to be positive. I know I won't agree with her on everything, but the differences are so vast and extreme, it's really time for you guys to acknowledge that a lot of the reasons you hate Hillary really aren't based on facts or reality.

Steve Schmidt was on MTP today. He says that without a doubt HRC is going to be the 45th POTUS. It's just a matter of how close we get to having Nancy Pelosi as Speaker, thanks to Trump. I thought his statement was pretty profound, and the GOP should take it to heart = not because I'm mean, but because I think it's the only way our country is going to move forward, and I don't think the GOP will make the kind of reform they need unless and until they rebuild from the ground up. They are now where the Ds were when Reagan first won the WH.

"The only question up in the air is how close the Democrats will come to retaking the House majority," Steve Schmidt continued. "What this exposes though is much deeper to the Republican Party as an institution. This candidacy, the magnitude of its disgrace to the country is almost impossible I think to articulate. It has exposed the intellectual rot in the Republican Party. It has exposed on a massive level the hypocrisy, the modern day money changers in the Temple like Jerry Falwell Jr. And so this party to go forward and to represent a conservative vision for America has great soul searching to do. And what we've seen and the danger for all of these candidates is over the course of the last year, these candidates who have repeatedly put their party ahead of their country denying what is so obviously clear to anybody who was watching about his complete and total manifest unfitness for this office."==============================

I see a wholehearted embrace and expansion of federal power over states and all citizens as the single most dangerous trend in the US today, one that I truly believe, if unchecked, will diminish the US to 2nd world status over time.

Growing federal power diminishes personal liberties and freedoms, and states' abilities to manage their citizens' affairs as they see fit. Growing govt size consumes an ever-increasing amount of resources, with no mechanism to reduce it.

Clinton will absolutely have her foot on the accelerator of both of those trends, with the full support of her party. That, to me, is incredibly dangerous.
