You're no more able to predict the future than I am. We operate on what we believe and have our own set of facts to back it up. Hopefully once in a while we examine our beliefs to see if they still hold up. The problem is dismissing others' viewpoints out of hand, like you just did. That's a sure way to kill any kind of discussion, and to isolate yourself from really exploring and understanding others' views.
