Message Replied To ========== we had 4 hit Florida in Aug and Sept of 2004 and played Every game......different circumstances============================== Not 48 hours before. I was in Gainesville this weekend. My hotel was full of evacuees and electric linemen who were staging to repair the damage on the east coast as soon as the storm cleared. By Saturday, most of my son's friends left town to help their family's clean up. I see no way Gainesville could have done both. And it worked because most communities have power and are back after the storm. I am grateful the game was postponed. |
