Message Replied To ========== That's good evidence all right. And in every case, Conservative Americans will claim that they are not trying to suppress votes. And in most cases they even believe it themselves. ============================== it is a short-term solution to their electoral problems long-term. The better solution would be to devise a party platform that appeals to a wider swath of Americans and stick to it. It has been noted in many circles that some groups put off by such things have a more realistic affinity to what is called "conservative" principles (even if not followed).
It happened in Alabama . . . they want to make IDs mandatory yet they don't want to fund the places that you go to get IDs. I'm not entirely sure they meant for that to happen . . . as our State is run so badly . . . but that was the effect. |
