Message Replied To ========== Same here: 1 provider, various plans; yet the decision is whether the cost supports the level of risk transference. IMO it doesn't what with non-subsidized premiums for singles kissing $10 grand at the low end with $15 grand and above for couples. And that's with a $6650/$13300 deductible and zero co insurance till deductibke is met. (The co insurance can kick in earlier if you up the front end premium cost. Yet, they all share the "no out of network benefit" clause. Considering the premium, the deductible and the issue of unintended out of network usage, one is confronted with an upfront medical expense of at least $15,000 per individual (premium + deductible) before insurance. And that's only if no out of network secondary provider sneaks in, which is dubious if you incur that type expense. ============================== but they burn your shop down anyway. |
