they don't like the sound of it for sure, but they voted for someone who, as a byproduct of all the reasons they wanted him, brings along affirmation and voice to bigotry, racism, misogyny, etc.  So the right and those who voted for him can whine about being called all those things....but you'd better all denounce it loud and clear and own up to the fact that it is a part of the package that is President-Elect Trump.

if she had ended up spending her term paying back favors to large corporations rather than helping people get back to work by bringing companies back to the US. Or, when the corruption surrounding her foundation that has resulted in false promises in destitute areas of the world, like Haiti, implodes. The good news is that we won't have to shake our heads in shame because she is our President. I sure hope we don't end up having to do that with Trump, but we might. Bottom line is that we had to pick our poison. They were less than palatable candidates. Both deeply flawed. Some found his divisive comments the lesser of the problems while others saw those comments as more problematic than accepting a corrupt politician from the start. Right now, rather than throwing temper tantrums or gloating, both sides need to remain vigilant and engaged. We simply can't let government continue their beholden ways. The military must be strengthened. The economy must be brought back. This healthcare mess must be fixed so that it is truly accessible and affordable. We must hold him accountable to his promises. It is on us... all of us.
