Message Replied To ========== They're booing CLEARLY because you got your tickets illegally! You can't get tickets for this show for MONTHS.  It's pretty immature but... I can't say I am 100% certain I wouldn't have joined in. Hundreds of my friends in this industry are scared #badword#eless of what this homo hating stiff might do.
============================== I don't see how any of this is an issue. The booing by audience members was rude, but otherwise there's nothing to complain about. Pence requested tickets from the producers; essentially using his position as Veep-elect to ask for a favor. nothing wrong with that. The producers and cast decided to grant his request, but they wanted to express their concerns. The prepared statement was respectful and was delivered politely. Seems like a pretty fair trade for the toughest tickets in town. If the cast used every show to express their political views, that would be one thing....but Pence was right there, as their guest, and they wanted to take the opportunity to speak to him. I don't see how anyone sees this as an issue .
Except for Trump. Of course it's an issue in Trumpland. |

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.
