We had NINE starters out...NINE. A third string center calling out offensive line assignments and getting it done...Sophomores, Red-shirt Sophomores, Red-shirt Freshman, True Freshman playing all over the field...and getting it done.  While it has been frustrating to watch at times, we have been very close to putting much more scoring on the board in every game. Silly mistakes and penalties have been primary culprits against the Offense this year.   This was a very good football team we beat yesterday on the road.  

This was a HUGE building moment.  LSU is one of the best Ds in the country and we just started running at them...over and over and over.

We were flat out outmatched on the lines, but it didn't matter. This was a grow up game...a  big grow up game... SEC East Champions for two years in a row...it is obvious that we will be the early season favorite to three-peat that, but the road will be brutal and very high profile with UT (rebuilding), A&M, LSU (rebuilding, new coach) and FSU(xes) visiting the swamp next year.  Folks, last year was not a flash in the pan. We're making sausage and it ain't pretty.  We are one of the youngest teams in Div-1A, and likely the best young team out there. Gators Rising! NOW, bring in those recruits and continue to mature on the O-line...  Oh baby! 

Yesterday, Coach sounded vindicated. Angry. Team effort.  Gritty. Tough.  Gators.
