Just doesnt make sense to me... ==============================Alleva, who I don't think is a total goober, but provided plenty of evidence to the contrary during this episode, dug in on his insistence that baton Rouge needed a home game last weekend as the city is still recovering from the floods and civil unrest from the summer. I agreed w pushing politically the week of the game for an alternative (site/time/date...) but he lost that battle and instead of just accepting defeat in a small, short term battle, he decided to dig in and an experienced, seasoned AD schooled him on public relations and the gators schooled LSU on the field. It's a testy rivalry anyway, this was gasoline that didn't have to be introduced to the fired equation. |
