I realize that I am critical, perhaps to a fault. But when I ask for something I don't mince words. I mean what I say.

This week I saw some ray of light that got my hopes up. I hoped that you might have reason for me to keep those hopes.

Despite my posting style, I have alwasy been able to count on you to respond with reason and analysis (waterlizard is another who does the same). That's why I asked you in this instance and have asked waterlizard in other instances. Yet, your theatrical condemnation of my post has not restored any shred of hope or confidence. I am left thinking that my concern is valid because otherwise you would have responded with actual information. 

I hope that in the coming days you will be able to refute my concerns with some very positive information. I look forward to that possibility, even if it seems slight at this point in time. 

With that said, I agree that this staff seems good at identifying talent and coaching up talent. But that will only take us so far. 

i see a coach who at least appears to get it and who is taking steps to fix things that have been broken for years.  In the meantime, we have performed better than objective observers expected and won our division twice by n two years.  I'd say some are putting too much weight on feeling like we won on NSD even though the previous coach proved you could do that and still suck donkey balls.  There were several relatively lower ranked recruits who looked pretty damn good as freshmen this past season.  

 why the urge to say everything sucks (no, not just you and not necessarily you - just a general observation).  Eh predicting we'll miss out on every recruit mentioned.  We'll miss out on whatever assistant we want to hire.  We'll only sign 20 guys.  We'll lose whatever top commits we have.  Woah is me, etc. 

it gets as tiring as sunshine puppets who feel the need to police others'  thoughts.
