1.  2007

Urban's 3rd year (Lakeland Boys Pouncey Twins, Rainman and Ahmad Black and a pretty deep class as well.)

Great class.  Highly rated and the rating was correct

2. 2006

Urban's 2nd year (Not a deep class  but Tebow and Harvin need I say more!! If class had a bit more depth you could rank it #1)

3. 2013

Muschamp 3rd year (Muschamp's best class included Vern Hargreaves, Caleb Brantley, Keanu Neal, and Jarrad Davis.) 

Terrible class.  We DESPERATELY needed help on Offense.  We hardly got any.  Yes there were several good Defensive players and the class was rated highly as a result but this class totally failed to meet our needs and contained an absolutely huge number of total busts.

4. 2016

Mac's 2nd Year (#12 Ranked Class that probably the deepest class of the last decade. Still a work in progress but has potential to have 20 contributors which would be the best in over a decade. Tons of future stars in       Tyrie Cleveland, Chauncey Gardner, David Reese, Jawaan Taylor,  Voshean Joseph, Dre Massey, Antonneous Clayton, Lamical Perine, Freddie Swain, Josh Hammond, Feleipe Franks, Jachai Polite, Eddy Piniero, Brett  Heggie, and more)

Its looking pretty good so far.  Its premature to judge it but Jawaan Taylor, Vosean Joseph, David Reese were all 3 stars who were way better than their ranking.  Cleveland, Swain and Hammond all look like they will be players.  Polite is another 3 who didn't play as much as Joseph and Reese on D but still looked pretty good.  Gardner looked like he would be the stud he was supposed to be. 

5. 2010

Urban's 6th year(#1 Ranked Class that didn't quite live up to the hype. Still a very good class that produced players like Dominique Easley, Shariff Floyd, Matt Elam, and Jaylen Watkins. Ronald Powell and many others didn't produce like a highly rated class that had 28 players. Far too many didn't live up to the hype.

Here I disagree again.  This was either the #1 or #2 class in the country depending on the ranking.  There were a lot of damned good players in this class.  It was heavily skewed towards the Defense.  Easley, Floyd, Elam and Watkins were all studs for us.  The two OL, Green and Silberman are in the NFL now.  Deonte Thompson is in the NFL now, etc.  What hurt most is that Driskel was a bust.

6. 2015

Mac's 1st year (#21 ranked class. Very underrated class that Mac put together at the last minute. Could produce as many as 12 key contributors in a 23 person class led by Martez Ivey, Jordan Scarlett, Cece Jefferson, Antonio Callaway, Tyler Jordan, Jabari Zuniga and Kylan Johnson.)

This class looks WAY better than most thought at the time and it positively blows Urban Meyer's transition class away.  On the OL Ivey, is a good one and McCoy looks really good (I include him since he transferred in a couple months later), Johnson and Jordan look OK at least.  That's 4 OL at a time when we desperately needed OL.  Callaway is a better WR than any we have had since 08.  Scarlett looks like a good one.  Zuniga and Kylan Johnson and Keivonnus Davis all look better than they were supposed to be while CeCe Jefferson looks like a very good player.  In terms of meeting our needs, I'd put this class above 2012 and 2013 which were both ranked in the top 10.

7. 2012

Muschamp's 2nd year (#4 ranked class had many busts but there was some really good quality in Dante Fowler, Alex McCallister, Antonio Morrison, Jonathan Bullard and Bryan Cox Jr. This class though was the classic Muschamp unbalanced class. Not much offense other than Matt Jones and failed to bring any decent wideouts and only 1 O-Lineman DJ Humphrey who underperformed his whole career.)

Terrible class.  Ranked in the top 10 but just terrible.  We DESPERATELY Needed help on Offense.  We got one average OL and one above average RB and that's pretty much it.  Yes we got Defensive players who were good but I'd have traded every last one of them for a few more good players on Offense.  Totally failed to meet needs and set us up for failure.....now combined this with our 2013 class which was absolutely terrible on Offense.  Gee....our Offense sucked donkey balls the last two years.  Gosh....I wonder why?  Must be the current coaches are just incompetent.  Yeah that's it!  Let's not bother to look at what Chump left them to work with ie nothing.  We had signed 2 OL and 2 OL in the previous two classes.  I kept SCREAMING "AT LEAST FIVE" on this board and elsewhere when talking about how many OL we needed in this class.  Chump signed only 2.  Catastrophe.

7. 2014

Muschamp's 4th year (#9 rated class that had many busts, but have some quality led by Jalen Tabor, Quincy Wilson, Duke Dawson, David Sharpe, Khairi Clark, Taven Bryan, and Brandon Powell. Overall class had too many guys  that didn't make it such as Gerald Willis, Thomas Holley, J.C Jackson, CJ Worton, Travaris Dorsey, Deiondre Porter, Drew Savary, Ryan Sousa,  etc.

We got a GREAT pair of Cornerbacks....and not much else.  Terrible class.

8. 2008 

Urban's 4th year ( #6 rated class that turned out average. Best players from this class were Janoris Jenkins, Will Hill, Omar Hunter, Jeff Demps, and Lerentee McCray. The rest of the class was full of disappointment including busts such as Dee Finley, Adrian Bushell, Troy Epps, Byran Jones, Brendan Beal, TJ Lawrence, and Sam Robey.)

Hugely overrated class.  A few good players like McCray and Hunter and Jenkins, a few average players like Demps and Hill and a ton of total busts.IIRC this class was tiny...something like 18 guys.  That should never ever happen.  Cull and sign a full class or close to it every year.

9. 2005

Urban's 1st year ( #12 Class that only had 17 players. Horrible class that is only ranked better than Muschamp's 1st year. Very little in this class to pick from. Best players were Jon Demps, Ryan Stamper, Kestahn Moore, Louis Murphy and not much else.)

Terrible class.  I'd rate it as easily THE worst in this time span.  Just full of busts and washouts.  Murph as a really good one.  Stamper was good....the rest were almost completely worthless.

9. 2011

Muschamp's 1st year (#11 ranked class that didn't really produce 1 star unless you consider Jeff Driskell or Jacoby Brissett a star. This class was almost devoid of any merit. The best players other  than the QB's were Louichez Purifoy, Trip Thurman and Marcus Roberson)

Muschamp's transition class half of which was handed to him by Urban Meyer..something like 10-12 commits when Urban left.  You can't blame a coach too much for a transition class.  Muschamp really should have used the time he had to try to pick up another OL or two to add to the 2 OL who were in the class when Urban handed it to him.....especially since we had only signed 2 OL the year before.
