"Let's not stop there. Re-ranking the 2012 recruiting class" |
|
Message Replied To ========== ESPN re-ranked the SEC 2013 classes.... ![]() http://www.espn.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/126579/regrading-the-2013-sec-recruiting-classes
============================== originally ranked as the #4 class. Let's see what we got on offense. DJ Humphries 5 star OT - average player. He started 3 years but was never all conference. Jessamen Dunker 3 star OG - Chump booted him for buying a hot scooter from Craigslist....which is a shame because he is rated in the top 100 players for the next NFL draft - but he counts as a total bust for us. Kent Taylor 4 star TE - total bust Colin Thompson 4 star TE - total bust Matt Jones 4 star RB - good player Skyler Mornhinweg 3 star QB - total bust Raphael Andrade 3 star WR - total bust Austin Hardin 3 star K - total bust so......one average Offensive Lineman, 1 good RB and nothing else. Go ahead, challenge me. Tell me what guys I'm wrong about. Give me specifics to explain why these two classes combined would not still be one lousy class on Offense. We got 6 guys who could play at all in two years....and it's not like they were all stars either. Next question: who were supposed to be our Juniors and Seniors on Offense the last two years? |

-- Starred by: Tampabucsgator CoachTony MichiGator peabody hall BurrGator gatorvette1012 -- “Every man should endeavor to understand the meaning of subjugation before it is too late… It means the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern schoolteachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the war; will be impressed by the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit objects for derision… It is said slavery is all we are fighting for, and if we give it up we give up all. Even if this were true, which we deny, slavery is not all our enemies are fighting for. It is merely the pretense to establish sectional superiority and a more centralized form of government, and to deprive us of our rights and liberties.” Maj. General Patrick R. Cleburne, CSA, January 1864 "I yet believe that the maintenance of the rights and authority reserved to the states and to the people, not only essential to the adjustment and balance of the general system, but the safeguard to the continuance of a free government. I consider it as the chief source of stability to our political system, whereas the consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin which has overwhelmed all those that have preceded it."
