"One wonders what the difference between a Trump and a Flea is?" |

Message Replied To ========== He could just be misremembering. I think that's what happened with Clinton and the helicopter, too. I had that happen to me the other day. I posted how I had voted for Jimmy Carter the first time I ever voted for a President. After thinking about it, I realized the math didn't work -- I wasn't 18 yet when Reagan was elected. It was really jarring, because for a long time now, I've always believed that I had voted for Carter. I think I was misremembering an informal "vote" we had in high school where I supported Carter. But it really bothered me the rest of the day that my memory was completely wrong.
It's weird, because I distinctly remember going to the polling booth and casting my vote for the first time, and all this time I thought it was a vote for Carter. Turns out it was for Reagan (in 1984).
I agree that he believes what he said today, but I think you're overstating what that means with regard to his fitness. Obviously he should be more careful the things he says off the cuff -- it's too easy to prove him wrong. But I don't expect that to happen, LOL. ==============================Oh yeah . . . self-deprecation and self-reflection. |
