For some former friends on the alt Left, they've already crossed my own personal Rubicon.

I see a lot of the anger from the left going around as misappropriated, mismanaged, and misdirected.

That to me is the ultimate absurdity.

As for the equivocation comments (and I know you questioned Hump not me), my feelings are mostly neutral. I would've preferred he didn't say it but I saw what he actually meant a bit differently.

I can only speak for me.  I haven't attended any protests, and I don't call Trump voters any of the names you mentioned.  I merely point out his unacceptable behavior when I see it.  And I see it pretty much every day.

As for the Putin equivocating stuff, I find that to be one of the most appalling things he has said (no small thing).  No, we aren't angels, but we believe in freedoms and laws and in correcting abuses when we see them.  That comment made me sick and i deem any lessening of the meaning behind those statements as rationalization.
