I don't know. I'd like to think growing older has made me less prone to political tribalism and more one who seeks to fully understand issues, all effects and consequences, and how we might pragmatically better the situation. 

Many of my views as a result would be considered more liberal. It's not about being a member of a social group though. I was a "conservative" for years to fit in with my most immediate social circle, and now consider it a mistake, with lesson learned.

I hope growing older makes me a better humanitarian. Humanity is my political party. One who can love and see the good in all but always have the strength and courage to think for myself.
