there is nothing good to come from it.  I fear we are teetering on the edge, this Trump hysteria reminds me of Chavez and his legions of minions.  They WORSHIPED him and his false promises, how "he alone will fix everything", the totalitarian disdain for the press and protestors.  The stock market is insanely over-valued, regulations being tossed out the window... another crash seems inevitable after another bubble bursts and the people putting their 100% faith in one man is terrifying.  Not meaning to sound hyperbolic here, the "worship" similarities to Chavez & Trump are disturbing.  Read this, it's long, it's from a pastor who attended the Melborne rally and it is insane.

The Trump Hysteria?  The anti-Trump "resistance" and the chattering class is where the hysteria is most noticeable to anyone not firmly in it. 

Minions - is that the famous inclusion and tolerance the left demands? Irredeemable? Not America? 

Worshipped him - "We are I am the ones we've  you've been waiting for!" and his false promises? Hope & Change?? Stop the rise of the oceans?  Oprah: "He is The One!" 

Disdain for the press and protestors? Again, irredeemable? Not America? Bitter clingers? Our enemies?  

The stock market is insanely over-valued? 1. Please explain why you think so. I don't necessarily disagree with the statement, just curious how you make that conclusion. 2. I have been assured here on this board that Obama's masterful management of the economy is what led to the curent bull run. Which is it?  That, or "Trump hyteria"?  

"The people putting their 100% faith in one man"?  What "people"? I have also read here that Trump's support is max 35-40%, and that his negatives are over 50%. That "people"? Trump famously lost the popular vote.  OTOH, your boy Jimmy Carter assured us that Chavez's elections were totally legit.  And it's not hard to imagine. 

Does Trump have his Trumpkins, loyal and true to the end? Sure. Is it remotely comparable to Chavez?  GMAFB.  For all the reasons UFNY pointed out below and more, an absurd comparison.  

If this was an attempt to be non-hyperbolic, I'd hate to see the actual hyperbole.
