RE: John Kasich cuts to the chase on the healthcare bill.....

A couple of arguments can be made about that.

1. The people who had health insurance were paying for all those who didn't via higher premiums.

2. If there was any government reimbursement to providers of unpaid bills even prior to the ACA, how is that much different from a mandate? All taxpayers are paying for it one way or the other.

Should the government force us to pay for everyone's shelter?  Everyone needs food.  Should the government force us to pay for everyone's food?  

Where does this end?  What human need is beyond the scope of being satisfied at the point of a gun?
