I have never been fond of such substitutes for argument either. ==============================I tried 45 for a few days but I usually use his name when referencing administration and The President or DT initials to refer to man. I also use gwb, hrc, wjc & bho when writing in third person. If liberals are going to insist the man is tarnishing the office it stands to reason that we respect the office ourselves. I loathed the "not my president," crowds in the 90s w wjc and 00s w gwb; saying "not my president," disenfranchises the millions who voted for him because they believed his message. The opposition goal shouldn't be to lecture but to recognize the compelling aspects of the winning campaign and to offer better solutions. |
