Message Replied To ========== I saw a team that got run of the field against both FSU and Bama. I typed "team"...not QB. I don't see how any reasonable Gator can watch the SECCG and think we were only one player away. Sorry. Dislike away, but I don't think this Gator team has the talent to make the playoffs, even with a very good QB. We'd need a once in a generation type player to lift our otherwise pedestrian squad to the playoff IMO. It's not that we are bad, because we aren't. We just don't have the talent of teams like tOSU, Clemson, Bama, FSU, etc... We are good, not excellent. ==============================We had an OL that was still very inexperienced in comparison to everybody else. We had a WR corps that featured 4 of the 6 guys in the rotation who were true freshmen. We had a journeyman QB who transferred in after getting benched at Purdue. I think the lack of experience and the lack of a legit SEC starting caliber QB had a lot more to do with it than a lack of talent. It also didn't help that we were missing...what? 8 starters.
