I planned this in a week because I couldn't stand the thought of Pinellas County having all the fun, and with some help from some local resistance, approximately 175 people turned out to protest, and we spread out over a city block, from the Tampa Ale House on Columbus to the corner of Dale Mabry.

The Tampa police came by and couldn't have been any nicer, just told us to not impede traffic and to watch the kiddos. Lt. Gant gave me his card and said to feel free to call if we had any problems, and they love advance notice, so we will call next time!

Unfortunately, we had the protest version of an internet troll show up during the end, and he appeared to be working with the local ABC camera guy baiting some of our protesters. There were a few heated exchanges, but no violence or arrests.

I am now the proud owner of a chicken suit, which is going to get used, uh, liberally in the future.
