They never want anyone to admit doubt or mistakes, that's scary. They want to be told everything is OK, that they'll be taken care of, it's all under control, as the state gets more and more powerful and more and more opaque.

As long as you don't see or hear the problems, you can pretend they don't exist.

it's just when this thoughtless douche realized what most of us were screaming at him from the rooftops for a year and a half....states the obvious...it's hard to give him "credit" for being honest.  It's more of a "you have to be #badword#ing kidding me!!" reaction.

You called everyone who disagreed with you names.  You bragged about how ONLY YOU could fix things.  You said it would be easy.  Now you whine that it's harder than you thought?  And we are supposed to say "wow....how refreshing!".
