Message Replied To ========== The scandal of Comey's firing is not IF he needed to be let go, it is the timing The POTUS should not fire the FBI Director while he is in the middle of an investigation of his administration (or in this case campaign). Doing so gives a strong sense of impropriety and cover up in the very least. Part of being POTUS is giving confidence in the government. Trump is failing at that rather miserably. Congress needs to appoint a special investigator to continue the investigation into any Russian ties, if for no other reason than to restore confidence. I would completely support Trump being impeached or resigning.
