...but I'm going to anyway. You guys have been an amazing support for the UF Literacy Initiative (UFLI) summer reading program--I believe the VS sent SIX kids last year! The program works with elementary kids with dyslexia and other significant reading disabilities, and we typically see a huge turnaround in just a few weeks. The adult-child ratio is about 1:2, so participating kids get a lot of individualized help. We currently have more scholarships requested than we have available. If you can find it in your heart to contribute, I guarantee your donation will be put to excellent use. The cost is $500 per child, but any little bit helps! If we can raise another $3,500, we can serve every child who has applied. Thanks and Go Gators!! BabySis |
