Message Replied To ========== This post is guilty of everything that I complained about yesterday. It is mean-spirited and nasty. It's passive aggressive and of course it was liked by the trump detesting. I am assuming that you suffer from the same syndrome. It's not the first time you have taken a really nasty shot at me on this board. It's just the first time that you've done it in such a separate post in a passive aggressive manner instead of responding directly to something I type. ==============================And I'll help you get down from that high horse. I watched (read) you insult DJ yesterday because you don't like what (and/or how much) he posts about Trump. I called you on it, and you turned it onto me too. I prefer that, to be honest because when it's directed at me, it honestly gives me pause to introspect. I took some on-the-money suggestions regarding my need to back off my own snarkiness and to try harder to resist getting down in the "mud". I am very passionate in my anti-Trump sentiments...more passionate than I have been on a Lounge topic in probably ever. So reminders once in a while to watch my tone are welcome. BUT...what you are doing is trying to police the CONTENT of what other people post on this board, and that is simply not the way it works here. Wize is absolutely right....you are welcome to skip whatever posts/threads you don't like...but you (nor anyone else) has the right to tell people not to post on what they choose to post about. The tone of the board shifts like the tide and that's the way it always has been. The current news typically dictates who is more vocal and who posts about what. We have some excellent discussions here and those of us who read the board daily know it. We also have some less than excellent exchanges. That happens too. But my point is this: No poster, especially one who visits on occassion and typically just to comment on the distasteful tone of the board, has the right to tell the rest what to post about. I don't read every post on this board...far from it....and everyone else has the right to do the same. Yes, that post may be guilty of some of what you posted about yesterday. And more posts will be guilty of the same. And others will be to your liking. That's how it works.
