to service and helped allow us to celebrate this great day. I have just returned from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area where we had a celebration of life for my uncle, John Allen Moore. He was my last surviving uncle/aunt and had been married to mother's sister. He was a Navy veteran who served in WW II and was a Texas State Trooper for 32 years. And what a celebration - unbeknownst to me, there is a Texas Highway Patrol Honor Guard and they guarded his casket. At every intersection between the funeral home and the cemetery, there was a Trooper blocking the intersection with holding his hat over his heart or saluting. And there was also a Navy Honor Guard that played Taps. It was a great tribute to a great man. God Speed Uncle Johnny.
