as an evangelical Christian, I take strong offense to your "Evangelical Christians are so full of it" remark about this case. It's flat-out religious bigotry, and no different than if I came on here after one of the recent London attacks and said "Muslims are hate-mongers" or something similar.

Having grown up in several evangelical Christian churches, I happen to know that there are many examples of evangelical leaders who did hypocritically bad things either in the name of Christ or despite their supposed adherance to his teachings. Too many churches and their leaders are pursuing earthly goals and not godly missions. But by and far evangelical Christians and pastors are good, honest, people who are trying their best to follow a faith that from their perspective has been targeted as the only religion deemed by our society acceptable to mock and deride.

If you had said "these Christians are full of it" I wouldn't have responded this way. But you didn't. You ridiculed every person who calls himself an evangelical, and I find that incredibly insulting, and bigoted. Call me a snowflake or triggered or whatever you want.
