Recruiting is a MAJOR component. It's about Xs and Os AND Jesse and Joes.

UF deserves EXCELLENT coaching AND recruiting. Why can't the some understand THAT? 

against recruiting having a major impact.  And nobody is arguing against UF needing good recruiting and hgood coaches. Nobody.  It is a question of degrees (and I guess to a lessor extent we have argued on the accuracy of the recruiting services, and Mac's recruiting ability).  But how much is recruiting?  How much is coaching, schedule, luck?

Assigning everything in football to recruiting rankings is frustrating to me.  And using rankings to bludgeon Mac at every chance, without recognizing the context, is also frustrating.  Pointing this out gets you called names like sunshine pumper, which could not be further from the truth.  It would be great to discuss stats and facts without always having to make things personal.
