what would you change about the Lounge to make it a better place?  Again, I don't want to hear personal comments (like "I'd ban that DJ guy").  You can say you'd ban people for certain reasons.  You can say you'd delete different type of content than I would.  You can say you'd limit this or change that.  You can say you'd allow name calling or that you'd never delete anything.

Just remember...whatever rules you want to impose, that you'd be responsible for enforcing it.

I would be less forgiving of those who continually ignore the rules, seemingly with the attitude of "I'll post what I want and just let the admins sort it out."

I would probably be more forgiving of what I consider a personal attack, in part because I'm going to drop the hammer more swiftly on those who choose to cross the line.

I would also be concerned that doing these things would lessen the value of the board. It's not like we are a bunch of random strangers posting on a CNN politics forum. Most are long-time participants, and we have developed relationships over time with one another. We are also not a renewable resource. To remove even the most objectionable among us diminishes us to a degree. So I wonder whether my way would really help in the long run, or reduce it to simply people who mostly agree and always say nice things about one another.  How boring.
