"One of the best things about Coach Mac facing down the sabotage attempt by the administration"

for James Robinson....exactly as I predicted when it happened a few months ago....

Here was Jacob Copeland's response

Standing up to he self defeating crap from the administration matters to recruits.  They pay attention to things like Coach Mac going out of his way for Robinson and Lemons and overcoming the self defeating grandstanding by UF's administration.  Let's hope President Fuchs backs Coach Mac on any further attempts at sabotage by the administration like this.  Its long past time they were put back in their place - which is not to sabotage us on the field by shackling us with restrictions none of our competitors sees fit to impose on themselves.

“Every man should endeavor to understand the meaning of subjugation before it is too late… It means the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern schoolteachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the war; will be impressed by the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit objects for derision… It is said slavery is all we are fighting for, and if we give it up we give up all. Even if this were true, which we deny, slavery is not all our enemies are fighting for. It is merely the pretense to establish sectional superiority and a more centralized form of government, and to deprive us of our rights and liberties.”  Maj. General Patrick R. Cleburne, CSA, January 1864

"I yet believe that the maintenance of the rights and authority reserved to the states and to the people, not only essential to the adjustment and balance of the general system, but the safeguard to the continuance of a free government. I consider it as the chief source of stability to our political system, whereas the consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin which has overwhelmed all those that have preceded it." Robert E. Lee
