The money has been raised to move the monument in downtown Tampa
In Tampa city limits but on Hillsborough County land. Four of the BOCC have been playing games and tried to save the statue by cutting the time to raise the funds down to 30 days. It now appears Tony Dungy and others have written checks to get this done.
BTW, here's the Trump=like tantrums we are getting for the Confederate Four on the CC: Confederate activist added to Hillsborough County diversity council, yes because it's so important we listen to the "Confederate" POV.
