I'm against animal cruelty (hell, I like dogs better than people). But I don't align with PETA because of all the nonsense (no leather, eat vegan, etc...). 

If the Dems and the left want to know why their brand is #badword#, look no further... it's stuff like this that turns people off. Stop with the ideological-driven cursades (done mostly for attention) and START pragmatic efforts to win back the middle. Fight the fights that can be won and THEN determine what to do about the rest. 

Those statues aren't hurting anybody. They should NOT be an immediate concern. 

Orthodoxy has no room for pragmatism but only purity of thought.

Unfortunately most people these days are only interested in fatuous self-righteousness.

Pragmatism and compromise require hard work. Spouting off ideaology is pretty easy.

Virtue signaling is as easy as farting. Cultivating actual virtue is hard.

And Americans are mostly lazy. We tend to value what is easy over what is difficult. It's why it's hard to find any Americans with even rudimentary self-awareness.

But, I do hope your idea takes off. We will all benefit if it does.
