When Christians put their faith in a man or a church rather than the source of that faith, they wander off track, IMO. Guys like Osteen get the headlines because they have become celebrities, but they don't speak for or represent all evangelicals. There are many, many more evangelical Christian leaders, and their congregations, who don't buy into this "prosperity gospel," as the article calls it. Unfortunately, being humble and decent doesn't make headlines.
